Coming from the UK, Glaswegian David’s past roles include leading on the festivals and events portfolio of the cities of Bristol and Exeter. Exeter being the home to one of the world’s largest rock acts; Coldplay. Bristol is home to the likes of Portishead, Massive Attack, Cary Grant and the renowned international artist Banksy.
With 15 years experience in content development, operational management, event logistics, fund-raising and marketing David aims to bring some diverse talent from all over the world whilst growing the local cultural offer of Wood Buffalo.

An Alberta girl, Brea is originally from Edmonton but has spent the last decade living and working in Calgary in the media industry, before trying Fort McMurray on for size. Brea brings to Events Wood Buffalo her passion and enthusiasm for all diversities of art and culture. When she’s not working you can find her riding her bike, or hunched over a notebook writing poetry.
