What we do
Events Wood Buffalo operates in Fort McMurray, Alberta and works managing and executing major events around the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Events Wood Buffalo is happy to provide various community celebration and entertainment services. Our intention is to serve as a resource for all community groups and organizations either wishing to produce their own events or participate in one of our existing event umbrellas. We also wish to become a bridge or hub for communication between all of these organizations and the volunteer base they all seek to share.
We also believe our organization can become a specific resource and facilitator for anyone wanting to produce an event in the Wood Buffalo region. We will be leaders and instigators in the visioning, planning and execution of a number of major community events including our signature events.
We will always look for opportunities to partner with other organizations and companies to develop new events based on the precincts of sustainability, growth potential and community need.
The Post
Events Wood Buffalo presents the Post, a public art gallery in Fort McMurray featuring works of contemporary art. The gallery is housed within the curved space in the lower level of the Keyano Visual Performing Arts Centre. The name for this new gallery alludes to our goal to become a foundational and sustainable presence in this community; a presence that helps to foster appreciation and support for the arts.
The development of this gallery is a collaborative effort and we are always looking for new people to join the Post team.
If you have any questions or would like to get involved please call or email our Volunteer Curator, Connor Buchanan.
