Happy New Year to one and all!
Well 2011 was one action packed year. Events Wood Buffalo rose to new heights with drawing record-breaking audiences from throughout the region.
Highlights included the 3 Forts Sled Dog Race during winterPLAY, rock legends KISS, The Canada Day Parade, and country diva Reba.
We ended the year in fine form assisting our partners MacDonald Island Park with The Craze, which broke all records and has been touted as the best Craze yet.
We would like to thank all the delightful staff at MacDonald Island for bringing such a magical experience to the residents of Wood Buffalo and especially the event lead Jeremy Irla whose energy and professionalism was a delight to watch.
We would also like to welcome Brea Burton to the team as our new Marketing and Communications Manager.
We intend to start of 2012 off as we ended 2011 with great experiences for all. Coming soon will be the highly anticipated winterPLAY festival, under the new creative direction of our Executive Director David Whitelock
